How LetProof works
Transparent comparison, local and hosted
LetProof helps a solo landlord keep dated evidence and compare two inspections without deciding liability.
Condition scale
Good, Fair, Poor, Damaged and Missing are ordered from least to most severe for comparison. The scale is a prompt for consistent recording, not an automatic valuation.
Comparison rule
A worse check-out condition is labelled a review candidate. An improvement is shown as an improvement and is never a deduction candidate. An item absent from check-out is treated as Missing.
Storage rule
Guest workspaces stay in this browser. Cloud upload is explicit, account-scoped and versioned; a failed upload leaves the local copy unchanged.
Honest boundary
A review candidate is not a proven deduction. Fair wear and tear and the final decision remain with the parties or an adjudicator.
